What the filings show

Nothing. A search of the SEC’s EDGAR full text index for the word “Kabilah,” run with no form restriction and again restricted to Form D, returned zero results on September 25, 2026. No Form D, no Form D amendment and no other filing appears under that name. The company’s own EDGAR CIK, if one exists, was not located by name search either.

Reading the gap

  1. Small rounds can legally skip Form D.A company that raises money under Section 4(a)(2) of the Securities Act rather than the Regulation D safe harbor files no Form D at all. A $500,000 raise from an accelerator and a single named fund is well within the range where a company might use that route, or where counsel might decide the offering does not need the filing.
  2. The number comes from aggregators, not a primary filing.PitchBook and Tracxn both independently report the same rough figure, $500,000, which is some corroboration between two commercial data services. Neither source publishes the underlying document, and neither is a public record in the SEC sense.
  3. The two aggregators do not fully agree with each other or with the company’s own current listing.PitchBook and Tracxn both give a Stanford, CA headquarters, sourced to the company’s founding era. Kabilah’s own 2026 Y Combinator job postings list New York, NY. Aggregator profiles that are not refreshed can lag a company’s current facts by a year or more.
  4. The company’s own leadership listing has also moved.Tracxn’s team page lists Sarah Raza as Co-Founder and CEO. The company’s own 2026 Y Combinator jobs page lists Umar Nadeem as CEO and Sarah Raza as CTO. Whether that is a title change since 2024 or simply an error in one listing is not resolved by anything in the public record.
  5. No later round has surfaced.Neither aggregator, nor any article found, describes a round after the 2024 seed. The company has not announced a Series A as of September 25, 2026.

What to watch

  • A first Form D, if the company raises under Regulation D going forward.
  • Named customer health systems and any published pricing or adoption numbers.
  • Clarification of which founder currently holds the CEO title.
  • A Series A announcement or confirmation that Y Combinator and Pioneer Fund remain the only outside investors.
