CombineHealth
A Y Combinator company with a reported $1 million raised through April 2023 and no SEC Form D filed under its name. Here is what data aggregators, a job posting and an accelerator directory show, and what a securities filing search does not.
Data as of September 25, 2026. Figures drawn from third party data aggregators, not from a company announcement or a confirming SEC filing, are labeled below.

What the filings show
They show nothing, and that absence is itself the finding. A company name search of SEC EDGAR for “combinehealth” and for “combine health” returns no matching filer. A full text search of EDGAR for the phrases “CombineHealth” and “Combine Health” across all filing types, run September 25, 2026, returns zero hits for the exact company name and, for the spaced variant, only unrelated companies and filings that happen to contain the words “combine” and “health” near each other. No Form D naming CombineHealth as issuer, and no Form D naming an investment vehicle built around it, was found.
That does not prove no money changed hands. Regulation D exempt offerings above certain thresholds normally require a Form D within 15 days of first sale, but companies that raise instead under Section 4(a)(2), through convertible notes or SAFEs structured to avoid Regulation D, or through an accelerator’s own investment vehicle, can raise real capital without ever filing one. Y Combinator itself invests in every batch company on standardized terms that are public in form but not filed individually per company with the SEC.
Reading the funding record
- No Form D appears under CombineHealth’s name.A company name search and a full text search of SEC EDGAR for “CombineHealth” and “Combine Health,” run September 25, 2026, turned up no matching filer and no Form D naming the company. That does not mean no funding changed hands: money raised through SAFEs or under Section 4(a)(2) instead of Regulation D requires no Form D at all.
- The only dollar figures on record come from data aggregators, not filings.aVenture reports a $500,000 round completed by April 5, 2023 and a cumulative $1,000,000 raised to that date. Tracxn separately counts “1 institutional investor” without naming it. Neither figure is confirmed by a public filing or by a company funding announcement found in this research.
- Y Combinator involvement is independently confirmed; its terms are not.CombineHealth’s own page in Y Combinator’s company directory, and a web listing of the CEO’s LinkedIn title, place the company in the Winter 2023 batch. YC’s standard deal terms are public, but nothing found here states whether CombineHealth took the standard deal or a variant of it.
- Headcount kept growing without a disclosed new round.aVenture counted 8 employees in February 2024. A Bangalore, India job listing posted in mid-2026 described CombineHealth as a 12-person company. Tracxn counted 14 employees as of July 31, 2026. None of that growth is tied in the public record to a named financing event after the 2023 figures.

What to watch
- A Form D, from CombineHealth itself or from an investment vehicle formed around it, which would confirm or correct the aVenture and Tracxn figures.
- A named lead investor; none is on record anywhere found in this research.
- Revenue or customer count disclosures tied to the 14-person headcount Tracxn reports for mid-2026.
- Whether the Bangalore, India office grows into a second disclosed location or stays a small engineering outpost.
