Reading the filings

  1. There is no SEC record to check.DocVita is an Indian company with no US entity found in EDGAR searches or in any source used for this profile. Its capital history lives with India’s Ministry of Corporate Affairs and with private deal trackers, not with the SEC.
  2. Paid up capital is far smaller than the money reportedly raised. The MCA’s own paid up capital field for Chota Hospital Private Limited is Rs 1,00,000, about $1,200, well below the $125,000 Y Combinator check and the later seed money the company is reported to have raised. Indian private companies commonly keep nominal paid up capital fixed while investment flows through separate share premium filings not captured in this snapshot.
  3. Bootstrapped, zero funding, and $125K plus all describe the same company.Inc42 Datalabs labels DocVita “Bootstrapped.” GetLatka lists total funding as $0 and says none has been reported. PitchBook and Tracxn each show a Y Combinator accelerator investment and a later seed round naming institutional investors. The three do not agree, and the gap most likely reflects each tracker’s own definitions and update cadence rather than one settled figure.
  4. Revenue reporting is off by roughly ten times.Inc42’s MCA derived figure puts FY23 revenue at Rs 3.2 Cr, about $385,000. GetLatka’s separate estimate puts 2024 revenue at $3.7M. No FY24 or FY25 filing was found to confirm either number or the size of the jump between them.
  5. The registered office does not match across sources.A Tofler snapshot updated in August 2026 lists a Rohtak, Haryana industrial estate address. An IndiaFilings snapshot updated in September 2022 lists a Gurugram WeWork address for the same CIN. DocVita’s operating address, per its own site and LinkedIn, is a WeWork location on Residency Road in Bengaluru, a third location entirely.
  6. The founding date depends on which entity is counted. The MCA lists Chota Hospital Private Limited’s incorporation as Jan 27, 2015. Founder Anmol Arora has dated the Chota Hospitals predecessor to 2016. DocVita’s own listing with Y Combinator, and most press coverage, dates the company to 2019.

What to watch

  • A filed FY24 or FY25 balance sheet with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, which would test the $3.7M revenue estimate against a real number.
  • Any new funding filing. The last dated round on record closed Sep 24, 2021.
  • Whether Goodwater Capital, F6 Ventures or Musha Ventures confirm the investment on their own portfolio pages beyond the archived listing found for Musha Ventures.
  • Clarification of DocVita’s current registered office, which recent snapshots of the same MCA record place in two different Indian states.
