Reading the filings
- The whole record is one number.PitchBook and Tracxn both put the total raised at $500,000. PitchBook splits it across two events, an accelerator deal dated January 1, 2026 and a seed round dated March 16, 2026. Tracxn records a single seed round on January 1, 2026. Neither breaks the amount out by event, so $500,000 is the ceiling on everything that has closed, not the size of a priced round.
- Four investors, one total.PitchBook names Flex Capital, Multimodal Ventures, Pioneer Fund and Y Combinator. Spread evenly across four, $500,000 is $125,000 each. That arithmetic is an upper bound rather than a fact: the accelerator deal is logged separately, and no source allocates the money.
- The databases disagree on the label.Tracxn calls it Seed. PitchBook calls one deal Accelerator and the other Seed. VCBacked labels it Pre-Seed. Preqin records one completed deal, most recent March 16, 2026, with Pioneer Fund. All four are describing the same $500,000.
- The investors disclosed before the trackers did.Multimodal announced the investment on March 20, 2026, four days after the seed date PitchBook and Preqin carry. Flex Capital listed Ditto Bio among six new investments in a Q2 2026 letter. Neither named an amount, and no press release exists.
- Nothing is non dilutive. No NIH or NSF award is on record. For a preclinical biotech that is a live gap: federal grants are the usual bridge between a seed and a first candidate, and the company is carrying none.
- One database narrative is unsupported.Preqin describes a revenue model built on licensing and joint ventures and says the company plans to expand into Europe and Asia by the end of 2026. No company statement, investor post or company blog says either of those things.

What to watch
- A Form D. One is due within 15 days of the first sale in any Regulation D offering, so a filing would settle both the amount and the date.
- A priced seed or Series A large enough to fund wet lab work, which is where the current $500,000 runs out fast.
- A first grant application landing at NIH or NSF.
- A pharma partnership or option deal, which for a platform at this stage is the realistic path to revenue.
- Whether the two addresses resolve to one registered office.
