Camber

A $30 million Series B led by Andreessen Horowitz took Camber’s disclosed funding to $50 million in February 2025. No SEC Form D has surfaced for the company under any name tried, so most of what follows rests on the company’s own announcement and independent reporting of it.

What the filings show

Nothing. A search of SEC EDGAR’s company index for “Camber,” “Camber Health,” “Juniper Health,” and “Juniper Behavioral,” and a full text search for “camber.health,” turned up no Form D notice for this company as of September 25, 2026. The only “Camber” entities on file are unrelated: two Baltimore- and Minneapolis-based companies named Juniper Health, a spinal implant maker called Camber Spine Technologies, a Boston hedge fund called Camber Capital Management, a real estate venture firm called Camber Creek, and a small cluster of other unrelated funds and issuers that happen to share the word “Camber” in their names. None of them are this company.

Reading the absence of filings

  1. No Form D does not mean no securities were sold.Companies that raise under Section 4(a)(2) instead of Regulation D file no Form D at all, and a private placement can also be filed under a holding company or legal name that does not obviously match the public brand. Camber’s own materials note the company operated as “Juniper” for most of its life, which complicates any name-based search of a public database.
  2. The disclosed total does not break down by round.Camber says it has raised $50M “to date” as of February 2025, of which $30M is attributed by name to the Series B. That leaves roughly $20M attributed only loosely to a seed round and a Series A that the company’s own funding timeline places in 2021 and 2024, respectively, with no amounts or lead investors disclosed for either.
  3. Investor lists disagree across sources.Camber’s own release and Acuity News both name Andreessen Horowitz as lead for the Series B, with Craft Ventures, ACME, K Ventures and Y Combinator participating. A third party aggregator, StartupIntros, instead lists Alumni Ventures, BITKRAFT Ventures, Konvoy Ventures, Queensbridge Venture Partners and an individual named Brian Corrigan as Series B investors, none of whom appear in the company’s own release or in Acuity’s reporting. No source reconciles the two lists, and the second set of names looks more like a gaming or consumer-tech syndicate than a healthcare RCM round.
  4. A rename complicates any paper trail.Camber operated as Juniper, or Juniper Behavioral Health, until the February 2025 relaunch. Crunchbase’s own listing for the company still resolves to the URL slug juniper-cbd2. Any pre-2025 securities filing made under the Juniper name would not surface in a company search for “Camber.”
  5. The founding date is unsettled, which affects how “four years in stealth” should be read.Camber’s own about page states 2019 as a founding year. Its funding timeline implies a 2020 pilot. Acuity News twice reports a “late 2020” launch. Y Combinator lists Camber in its Winter 2021 batch with a 2021 founding date, and Camber’s own February 2025 launch post describes emerging “after four years of working in relative stealth,” language that points back to 2021. None of the company’s own materials agree with each other.
  6. The recent acquisition carries no visible capital markets signal.Camber’s September 2026 purchase of Async Lambda was confirmed by the company as an acquisition, with financial terms not disclosed. No related Form D, 8-K, or other filing accompanies it in the sources reviewed.

What to watch

  • A Form D, or an amended one, filed under Camber Health, Juniper Health, or a related entity name.
  • Any disclosure that separates the seed and Series A amounts from the $50M headline total.
  • Reconciliation of the two conflicting Series B investor lists.
  • A Series C or other new funding announcement, particularly given the September 2026 acquisition.
