Reading the filings

  1. No Form D turned up.A search of SEC EDGAR for company names containing “Clarion” returns about fifty real estate and credit funds run by the asset manager Clarion Partners, plus one insurance vehicle in Austin. None is this company. A search for “Anaphero,” the name this company used before its 2024 rebrand, returned nothing. If this company has filed under a different legal entity name, it was not found.
  2. The newest round may simply be too new to show up.A Form D is due within 15 days of the first sale in an offering. The $10 million round reported by AlleyWatch closed on September 21, 2026, four days before this page was compiled. If it is filed under Regulation D, the notice may not be public yet.
  3. The company’s own number is stale.Clarion’s Y Combinator page and its own company site still cite “$5.4M” raised, a figure that matches the state of the business in 2024, before the February 2025 round and the September 2026 round it does not mention. Built In NYC, in a listing also dated to early 2026, gives $5.5M. Neither has been updated to reflect PitchBook’s $15.8M aggregate.
  4. The 2024 seed arrived in two pieces.PitchBook separates a $500,000 accelerator check in January 2024 from a $5.3 million seed round later that year, for $5.8 million raised to date by the end of 2024. That is close to, but not identical to, the $5.4M to $5.9M range reported elsewhere for the same period, the kind of small variance that shows up when different trackers cut off their count on different dates.
  5. The investor list does not fully match across sources.PitchBook names four investors in Clarion: Unpopular Ventures, Accel, Sequoia Capital and Y Combinator. The company’s own account names Accel, Y Combinator, Sequoia by way of scouts, and Airtable Ventures, plus angel investors from Ophelia, Medallion and Counsel Health. Unpopular Ventures does not appear in the company’s own list. Airtable Ventures does not appear in PitchBook’s.
