What the filings show

Nothing. A search of SEC EDGAR’s company database for “fitia” returns no matching entity. A full text search of EDGAR for the phrases “Fitia” and “Fitia, Inc.” across all filing types returns zero hits, both checked September 25, 2026. No Form D, no Form D/A, and no filing of any kind under that name exists in the public record, despite a reported 2021 seed round and Y Combinator’s own standard practice of taking equity or a SAFE in the startups it funds.

Reading the gap

  1. A raise with no filing is not unusual, but it is not nothing either.Companies that raise under Section 4(a)(2) rather than Regulation D file no Form D at all, and a SAFE that has not yet converted to equity may not trigger one either. The absence does not prove no money moved. It does mean nothing about price, investor count or amount is on the public record.
  2. Two corporate names appear, unreconciled.Apple’s App Store lists the app’s provider as Nutrition Technologies SAC, a Peruvian company form. Google Play lists the developer as Fitia, Inc., at 651 N Broad St Ste 201, Middletown, Delaware, an address used by commercial registered-agent services rather than an operating office. Neither storefront explains the relationship between the two entities, and no EDGAR filing under either name was found.
  3. Headquarters is itself disputed.Y Combinator’s company page lists Fitia’s location as Lima, Peru. Fitia’s own LinkedIn page lists San Francisco as headquarters. Both are current company-controlled or company-adjacent listings, not independently verified addresses.
  4. The named investor list has one source.Extruct, a third-party startup data aggregator, names Y Combinator as lead investor alongside Goodwater Capital, Darae, HOF Capital and Utec Ventures. No press release, EDGAR filing or independent report naming these investors together was found. Treat the list as a lead to verify, not a confirmed cap table.
  5. The revenue figure is similarly thin. The same aggregator lists $3.5 million in revenue with no date and no cited source. No independent financial reporting on Fitia was found anywhere in this research.

What to watch

  • Any first Form D filed by Fitia, Inc., Nutrition Technologies SAC or a related vehicle, which would put an amount and an investor count on the public record for the first time.
  • Independent confirmation, beyond a single aggregator, of the investor names tied to the 2021 seed round.
  • A reconciled statement of where the company is actually headquartered and how its Peruvian and US entities relate.
  • Revenue or subscriber disclosures from a source other than a third-party estimate.
