Reading the filings

  1. The name collision is a trap.Automated screens keyed to the string Glass Health return CIK 0001658807 and its three Form D notices. That issuer was incorporated in Delaware in 2014, filed from Santa Monica, and lists five related persons, none of whom founded or run the clinical AI company. Treating those filings as this company’s funding history would be wrong.
  2. Zero Form D filings is a fact about paperwork, not about money. An issuer that raises under Section 4(a)(2) rather than Regulation D files no Form D, common for accelerator instruments and small pre-seed rounds. The absence does not mean the $6.5 million did not move. It does mean the only numbers available are the ones the company chose to publish, with no filed offering amount, no investor count and no named directors to check them against.
  3. The announced amounts reconcile.$1.5 million pre-seed in 2022 plus $5.0 million seed in September 2023 equals the $6.5 million total TechCrunch reported the same month. That internal consistency is the strongest verification available here, and it is weak: every input is company sourced.
  4. The runway claim sets an implied burn.In September 2023 Paul told TechCrunch the company had four years of runway. Against $6.5 million raised, that implies average spending of no more than about $1.6 million a year, a team of roughly ten people, for a company that also maintains about 20 part time academic physicians.
  5. Three years of silence is the loudest number on the page.No round has been announced since September 2023, and no Form D has appeared that would signal one. Over the same window the adjacent category repriced violently: OpenEvidence raised roughly $700 million in a single year and reached a $12 billion valuation by January 2026. Glass is competing for the same clinician attention on two orders of magnitude less capital.
  6. Published pricing is the visible revenue model.Glass lists $0, $20, $90 and $200 monthly tiers, with EHR workflows gated to the top one. Self serve pricing at those levels implies a per clinician motion rather than enterprise contracts, consistent with a company that has never named an enterprise customer.

What to watch

  • A first Form D. Any priced round under Regulation D would have to be noticed within 15 days of first sale.
  • A named enterprise customer, which would move the story from self serve subscriptions to contracted revenue.
  • Any public SOC 2 Type II or HITRUST report, which health system procurement generally requires.
  • Whether the company publishes its benchmark methodology or submits to an outside evaluation.
  • FDA’s planned revision of its device software functions policy, which may address generative AI decision support directly.

Compiled from SEC and FDA public records, peer reviewed literature and published reports as of September 23, 2026. Form D notices report offerings under Regulation D; an issuer that raises under other exemptions files none, so the absence of a filing is not evidence that no capital was raised. Healthcare Venture Capital Fund holds no position in Glass Health. This page is not an offer to sell or a recommendation to buy any security.
