What the record shows
No SEC Form D notice was found under Care GP’s name in EDGAR full text search, and none was expected: Care GP is an Australian company, and a Form D is a US filing required only when an issuer sells securities to US investors under Regulation D. The company’s own materials describe “early-stage investment” that has “enabled the company to strengthen technical infrastructure and accelerate deployment timelines,” without a round name, a date, or an amount. Two backers are named across company and accelerator materials: Ryan Vo, an angel investor who is also chief executive of Nuvo Health and, by the company’s account, an early Care GP customer, and Startmate Ventures, which the company describes as the pre-seed arm of Blackbird Ventures. Care GP also appears as a member of Y Combinator’s Summer 2026 batch, an accelerator investment that typically comes with a small, standardized check, though Y Combinator’s own page for the company does not state an amount.
Reading the record
- No amount survives contact with any of the four sources checked. The Yahoo Finance, Cantech Letter, National Law Review and MobiHealthNews coverage, plus the Startmate accelerator profile and the company’s own website, all describe investment in qualitative terms only: “early-stage,” “backing,” “investor.” None gives a dollar figure for any round.
- An investor is also a customer.Ryan Vo is described as both an angel investor in Care GP and, through his role as CEO of Nuvo Health, an early user of the product. That overlap is disclosed by the company itself and is not unusual for healthcare startups that raise from operators in the field, but it means his endorsement in company materials is not a fully independent customer reference.
- The accelerator math does not appear.Y Combinator batches typically involve a standard, small investment for a fixed equity stake, but neither Y Combinator’s company page nor Care GP’s own materials states that figure for this company, so it cannot be added to the total here.
- An Australian raise leaves no US paper trail.Companies that raise only from Australian or other non-US investors, or that raise under an exemption other than Regulation D, file no Form D. The absence of a filing is therefore not evidence that no money moved, only that this research could not independently size it.

- Whether Y Combinator’s standard batch investment for Care GP is disclosed.
- Revenue or customer-count figures independently verified beyond the company’s own releases.
