Reading the filings

  1. No filing, so no verified amount.Every dollar figure on this page comes from data aggregators. Tracxn puts total funding at $120K over two rounds, CB Insights at $170K with $150K last raised, and PitchBook at $150K. The three do not reconcile: $120K plus $150K is $270K, not $170K.
  2. The 2016 round lines up with a news item.PitchBook dates a seed round to Oct 10, 2016. A news item on CB Insights dated Oct 26, 2016 reports INR 1 crore, which is 10 million rupees. At about 67 rupees to the dollar, our arithmetic gives roughly $150K, matching the database figure. The item does not say the pitched company is this one, so the match rests on name, amount and timing.
  3. One investor claim stands alone.PitchBook lists Andreessen Horowitz as an investor but attaches no round, date or amount. The company, Y Combinator and Tracxn do not mention it.
  4. Ownership after 2025 is unknown.A June 2025 secondary transaction is recorded with no amount or buyer. Secondary sales of existing shares would not require a Form D from the company, so silence in EDGAR does not rule it out.
  5. Small early capital, larger operation.PitchBook gives 60 employees; MTEC lists the company as 1 to 50. Against $170K of reported outside money, that suggests the business has been funded largely by customer revenue, though no revenue figure is public.

What to watch

  • Any Form D or amended notice that would document the equity holders after the 2025 secondary.
  • Whether a manufacturer confirms its Medmonk program publicly, beyond the Grifols portal.
  • Whether PitchBook’s Andreessen Horowitz entry is corrected or supported.
  • Whether the company discloses revenue or headcount that tests the bootstrapped reading.
