Flint
A modest, mostly undisclosed capital stack for a company that says it now places nurses at more than 130 facilities. No SEC Form D has surfaced under Flint’s name, so most of what is known comes from commercial data providers, not filings.
Data as of September 25, 2026. Company-reported figures are labeled.

What the filings show
Nothing, so far as EDGAR shows it. Company name searches for Flint Healthcare, Flint Inc, withflint and close variants returned no Form D in the SEC’s EDGAR company database as of September 25, 2026. A separate entity, Flint Technologies Inc., filed one Form D in February 2022 from a Delaware registered agent address at 251 Little Falls Drive, Wilmington. The filing lists no business description, officer names or industry group, and nothing in it names nursing, healthcare staffing or withflint.com. It is not counted as Flint’s filing here. If Flint has raised money under Regulation D, either no Form D was filed, which is itself a compliance gap, or it was filed under a name this search did not catch.
Reading the numbers
- Almost all the disclosed money is one round.Of the 4.12 million dollars PitchBook shows raised to date, 4.0 million came from a single early stage VC round with no listed date. The 125,000 dollar Y Combinator check and an undisclosed 2021 seed round make up the rest, meaning the seed round itself may have been small.
- The investor count does not match named investors.PitchBook lists 8 investors overall but names only 5: Audacious Ventures, Foreword, Haystack Management Company, MPG Fund and Side Door Ventures. Flint’s own about page adds Y Combinator and Rhino VC, which would bring the named total to 7, one short of PitchBook’s count of 8.
- No filing means no independently verified dollar figures.Every amount on this page comes from a commercial data aggregator or the company itself, not from a government filing. A five hundred thousand dollar average per investor, dividing 4.12 million dollars by 8, is arithmetic on unverified inputs, not a confirmed number.
- Headcount and revenue estimates disagree across providers.Datanyze estimates 2.5 million dollars in revenue on 17 employees. PitchBook lists 48 employees with no revenue figure. Y Combinator’s own listing says team size 50. The spread suggests these are estimates or snapshots from different dates, not audited figures.
- The founding year gap affects how the capital timeline reads. If Flint started in 2020, as PitchBook’s accelerator date and Y Combinator’s Summer 2020 batch field both suggest, then 4.12 million dollars over roughly five to six years is a slow, capital-light build for a staffing business now claiming 130-plus facility customers. If the 2024 founding year in the record used to start this profile is correct instead, the same money was raised much faster. The two readings cannot both be right.

What to watch
- A Form D or other SEC notice under Flint Healthcare, Flint Inc or a related legal name, which would replace estimated figures with filed ones.
- A dated announcement of the 4 million dollar early stage VC round PitchBook lists undated, and its lead investor.
- Resolution of the founding-year gap between the 2024 date used to start this profile and the 2020 to 2021 dates independent sources report.
- Named customers beyond the single unidentified Michigan facility.
