Reading the filings
- The only dollar figure is an accelerator check.$125K is the standard size of a Y Combinator deal at the time. PitchBook and Tracxn agree on it. CB Insights shows $130K, a $5K gap that no source explains. Getlatka shows $0 in funding.
- Investor list outruns the amounts.PitchBook counts 6 investors: AIX Ventures, E14 Fund, Village Global, SBXi, one individual angel and Y Combinator. Two follow on rounds have no size, so the money behind five of the six is unknown.
- No Form D means no verified round.A US company selling equity to accredited investors under Regulation D normally files one within 15 days of the first sale. None was found. Small SAFE rounds sometimes go unfiled or unindexed under the company name.
- Revenue and size do not line up.Getlatka estimates $900K revenue in June 2024 with 6 staff, which would be $150K per head. PitchBook says 3 employees and Employbl says 2. Against $125K raised, revenue of that size would mean customers paid for most of the company’s runway. The estimate is unconfirmed.
- Headquarters differ.YC, PitchBook and Getlatka say San Francisco. CB Insights and LifeScienceHistory say Boston. A state of incorporation or principal place of business would come from a Form D, and there is none.
