What the filings show

Nothing yet. A search of SEC EDGAR for companies named “claim health” or “claimhealth” returns no Form D filings as of September 2026, eight months after the seed round was announced. Companies sometimes file under a different legal entity name than their public brand, and some private placements are exempt from Form D reporting entirely, so an absence of a filing does not prove the round did not close. It does mean that everything about the round beyond the press release, the amount, the lead investor, the participant list, currently has no filing behind it to check.

Reading the round

  1. No Form D on record.Eight months after the announcement, no Form D naming Claim Health or ClaimHealth turns up in an EDGAR company search. That leaves the $4.4M figure, the investor list, and any earlier YC or angel money resting entirely on the company’s own account and the press it generated.
  2. Four names, no breakdown.Maverick Ventures, Peak XV, Y Combinator and DHVP are all named as participants, but the release does not say how the $4.4M splits among them, or how much came from the unnamed post-acute care executives described as also writing checks.
  3. Y Combinator appears twice.YC is named both as the accelerator that admitted Claim Health in its Spring 2025 batch and as a participant in the seed round, a pattern consistent with an accelerator’s follow-on fund investing again in a company it already backed.
  4. The growth number is unaudited. The reported 30 times revenue growth in under a year is repeated across three business outlets, Business Wire, HIT Consultant and Pulse 2.0, but each traces back to the company as the source, and none reports an underlying revenue figure to check the multiple against.
