Reading the filings

  1. There is no Form D to read.No filing under AminoAnalytica, AminoAnalytica Inc., or any obvious variant turned up in EDGAR company search for this research. If money moved through Regulation D, it either has not been filed yet or was filed under a name this research did not find.
  2. The share allotment is nominal, not a raise.The one capital filing on record for the UK entity is a statement of capital at £0.01 a share following the addition of a third director. That is a standard founder share issue, not evidence of outside investment.
  3. The UK entity did not last through the year.AMINOANALYTICA LTD was incorporated in April 2024 and applied to strike off two months later, in June 2024, with the process finishing in September. Founders who go through Y Combinator commonly move to a Delaware entity, and Crunchbase does list the company’s legal name as AminoAnalytica Inc., so the short UK life may simply be a pre flip formation rather than a business that closed.
  4. The $500,000 figure is unverified.Tracxn is the only source with a specific number, crediting a single 2024 seed round to Y Combinator. Tracxn’s own funding round table for the deal shows internally inconsistent figures that do not read as real dollar amounts, so this number should be treated as an estimate at best, not a confirmed raise.
  5. Independent commercial signals are thin.No named biosecurity customer, government contract, grant, or later funding round was found in this research, on Contracts Finder, in NIH or NSF award data, or in SEC filings.
